THE POLITICALLY INCORRECT GUIDE TO ISLAM AND THE CRUSADES

This is one of a series of books published with the title “the politically incorrect guide to.”  Obviously this one is treating a subject of great seriousness, exposing both the confusion and corruption at work in high places of government in the Western World.  The fact that the author “lives in a secure, undisclosed location,” indicates the dangers that attend plain speaking on the true nature of Islam.  Some would regard Spencer’s position as over-reaction and an extreme view promoting something pro-Christian and anti-Moslem.  Critics would say that he overstates his position, but although it is more than forty years ago that I had to study Islam and the history of the Crusades I think that his main thesis is easily provable from the facts laid down in reputable history books.  His basic hypothesis is that Islam remains what it always has been; its objectives and methodologies are the same today as they were thirteen hundred years ago, namely world domination by Sharia law and by force if necessary.  This book is readable, there are little notes along the way to give the salient points in each chapter, he mentions books that we should not read if we are to be politically correct and covers all the ground necessary to give a realistic assessment of what happened and what is taking place now as Islam grows and seeks to spread throughout the world and subdue all things to itself.  To those ignorant of Islam’s tenets the section on Dhimmitude will be an eye opener.  Dhimmi is the law that Islam puts in place regarding those who are Christians, Buddhists, Hindus and indeed any who do not adopt commitment to Islam; these are treated as second class citizens in virtually every way.  Reference is made to a recent movie “The Kingdom of Heaven” well received in many quarters but in fact a re-writing of the historic facts, a form of propaganda issuing out of the British film industry and symptomatic of the myths foisted on the general public by politicians and other activists. To be properly informed in these corrupt and politically correct days is vital for all of us and should lead to prayerfulness and to wholehearted commitment to Christ.
